Residence at Mercury Towers – Level 30
Located within Mercury Towers – Level 30, this residential project is a celebration of material continuity, craftsmanship and elevated living. The design approach centred around a single defining element: Calacatta Gold Marble. Rather than being used as an accent, the material was embraced as the visual and tactile foundation of the home.
Calacatta Gold Marble, with its white base and soft gold veining, runs through every space. In the master bedroom, it forms the bedside table top and plinth, and continues into the dressing console, immediately giving the room a cohesive and refined feel.
In the main living areas, the marble flows seamlessly between architectural elements and furniture. It shapes the dining table top, frames the kitchen, living and dining area with a carefully detailed floor border, and in the corridor, a book-matching effect transforms the flooring into a continuous, flowing composition that guides movement through the apartment.
The material extends into the guest bathroom as wall cladding, creating a sculptural, immersive atmosphere. In the kitchen, it takes on a functional yet expressive role in the island, complete with an integrated sink. Ribbed cladding along the sides adds texture, while drawers and door fronts clad in the same stone reinforce the sense of visual unity.
The bar and TV units continue the language of marble. Tops, sides, plinths, fixed elements, drawers and door fronts all carry the material, blurring the line between joinery and architecture.
The master ensuite introduces Silver Roots Marble for the walls, providing a subtle contrast. Its deeper tones and organic veining create a more intimate, grounded feel while maintaining the overall elegance of the home.
This Level 30 residence at Mercury Towers demonstrates how a carefully considered material palette can define a space. Here, Calacatta Gold Marble is more than a finish, it sets the tone and shapes the character of the home.
